Since moving to Johannesburg 10 years ago, now the resident sax player at the world class Saxon Hotel, saxophonist Femi Koya, widely known as “the black saxman” breathe the corporate sax music which is demanded by the world of events seeking the right entertainers, soothing and beautiful music for corporate event, Koya puts it all together for your event, Music of all genre from the 30’s to date, cover songs, Movie songs, Jazz standards, Background Cocktail music, Pop and African music.

Aside from being a Solo Saxophonist, he performs as a Duo, Trio, five piece and Big Band ensemble.

Koya is one the most preferred solo saxophonist as he is very flexible moving from lounge cocktail and Jazz standards into party dance groovy music catering for all races and all ages in the corporate event world.

He has performed in the past with the likes of Rike Coetzer, Cathy Del Mei, Andy Klee, Silver Morgan, John Beveridge, Timothy Moloi, Duane Rockwell, Yvonne Chakachaka, Pops Mohammed, Baba Maal, Oliver Mthukudzi, Ringo Madlingozi and many more.
