Kristel

Kristel is a highly accomplished musician with a BMUS and MMUS degree from WITS University. She was awarded a scholarship for her academic performance and recognized as the top string player. Kristel’s career is a testament to her versatility. She has performed with classical ensembles, jazz groups, bands, and in musical theatre productions. Her performances range from prestigious classical festivals to captivating audiences on television shows like Backstage, Egoli, Binnerlanders, and The Queen. She has even brought her talent to life in product launches and advertising videos.
Kristel is also a prolific recording artist, having self-released 10 albums and received two South African Music Award nominations. Her collaborative spirit shines through her work with her duo Cherry Pill, with whom she has toured internationally and achieved recognition as finalists in the International Acoustic Music Awards.
